Chelsea Hart with her home care worker Cara Tedstone. Chelsea’s mother, Kim Carter says, “Chelsea likes the commotion at camp, all the different voices, all the different sounds.” That is why the six-year-old, who is developmentally disabled, blind and prone to seizures, was also enrolled in the group music therapy program. “They’re trying to get her to explore her world using her hands, which she doesn’t like to do, but you give her a tambourine and she thinks she’s playing a tambourine. So she loves it.”
